Hello! Welcome to the official website of the Delta Sigma chapter of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority here at Florida Tech!
Before you start looking around our website, let me introduce myself and our wonderful sisters! My name is McKenna Taylor and I am the current 2024 President of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority here at Florida Tech. I am so grateful and honored to be President of this organization and I am so excited for what is to come. I honestly could not do this without all my sisters because they are my greatest support system. Each member of Gamma Phi Beta are truly important. My loving sisters make this organization so amazing to be a part of.
Our four core values are Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty, which all of our sisters exhibit inside and outside of this organization. I am constantly amazed of how each sister grows into a stronger woman every day. I love to see the growth of the women around me. Gamma Phi Beta truly inspires the highest type of womanhood in each and every one of us. If you get a chance to meet these caring and passionate women, I am sure you will feel the love and support we have for each other just as I do every day!
Our main focus in Gamma Phi Beta is academics, service, and sisterhood. We strive to always put academics first because we are all here for school and want each sister to succeed to their fullest potential! This organization gives many opportunities to aid each member in academic success. We also work closely with other organizations on campus and volunteer to give back to our community. Our philanthropy is Girls on the Run, which works to build strong girls. Our philanthropy is one of my favorite parts about Gamma Phi Beta, as it is very hands on and an extremely rewarding experience.
Our sisterhood is full of fun, love, and support. We love spending time together whether it’s going to Blue Springs, having a soap making party or just watching movies together; no matter what we do we always have a fun time!
Joining a Sorority was the best decision I made in college. The memories and experiences I have made with all my sisters is something I will cherish forever. I have met some of the best people in my life, and made friends that will last a lifetime. It has changed me and I have my sisters to thank for pushing me to be my best every day. Our sisters of Gamma Phi Beta are unique and each has something new to bring into our Sorority, and we are all better because of it!
